Bookmarks for all readers alike, have always been a way to “mark” where they left a story off. More often than not, they are tiny bits of paper, perhaps ticket or an old boarding pass or a pen/ pencil, or actually anything that is bulky enough to be seen and easily found in the pages when you pick-up your reading again. Simple enough.
But imagine the surprise, when after a long day at work, or school, you pick-up your book and discover that the tiny legs of some character of the book is trying to escape from between the pages! Seems very unlikely? Well there is someone who has made it possible!
Olena Mysnky, an architect by education and an entrepreneur and creator by avocation, has created a creative bookmark series, which makes it look like someone (or something) is stuck between the pages of your favourite book. Mysnky, who is based in Kiev, Ukraine, runs a popular shop on Esty called Mybookmarks showcasing her incredibly cool and amusing bookmarks which have been selling faster than hot cakes.
While she admits she was always an exceptionally creative child, she found a niche in the market which previously was untouched and went on to create an explosion of amazing designs. Showcasing her initial designs to her friends and family she soon realized the craze she could conjure up in the market.
How do you make your products and ideas as successful as her’s?
Here’s the recipe for success, the Olena Mysnky Style –
First to make the product really tasty and beautiful! Make it as appealing as you can because the more you concentrate on that, the better it will be; resulting in an ultimate Wow-product!
Next, you have to SHOW IT! Find your niche and become best in it, and then show it to your potential customers. No one wants to buy your work before they see you! Artistic people are often talented to create something great but rarely can they sell it good. You are an artist; create a new artistic marketing method to promote your work! Only you feel your work the best, make the others see it as you see! Communicate with you potential customers on Social media.
After you showcase your products, always remember, you have to COOPERATE or ask for help! There are so many people that would be glad to help you! Some experiences artist may decide to make an exhibition with you as a fresh and creative, some magazine will be glad to publish your works because you make something that their readers will appreciate. Don’t be afraid to ask people for help. You can be useful for them and they can be useful for you!
LOVE your work, and everything will be happening by itself, be passionate in your creativity! You are lucky to live your life as you wish!
CREATE! It’s the biggest happiness! Never forget about it!
Garnish it with a lot of hard work, ton’s of heart and a little bit of creativity, and you’ll go a long way!
