Wake me up when September ends.
Billie Joe Armstrong, from Green Day, had his reasons to hibernate through September, but not you – especially if you are in Delhi NCR. The ninth month of the fleeting year is dotted with ‘things to do’ to cure your procrastinating self. Step out into the sun (or the moon), explore the different strands of the city and rediscover yourself. After all, Delhi is a melting pot of passion and cradle of creativity.
Bring your buddies along to these hand-picked extraordinarily creative events in Delhi NCR and have A September to Remember.
1. CAPTURING THE ‘SOUL OF DELHI’
What is the soul of Delhi? – A question as old as time. A question still unanswered. Well, a question with a myriad of answers. After all, every Dilliwala experiences Delhi differently, engages with the city at different levels.
‘Soul of Delhi‘ is a photo series capturing the essence of Saddi Dilli by ace photographer Abhishek Khanna. It gives you a glimpse of the varied shades of Delhi. Although his vision of Delhi might not be the same as yours, it is truly a visual treat for all Delhi-lovers.

2. SPEED DATING WITH LITERATURE
Yes, you heard it right. Long Night of LiteratureS is speed dating with a literary twist. You get to interact with a number of dates for a stipulated period; just that your dates are well-established authors from various parts of Europe. Each author reads to a group of 10-15 people for 20 minutes, following which the audience moves to another room to listen to the next author. The format allows the group a very intimate space and personal interactions with the authors.
So if you prefer Literature over Tinder, Long Night of LiteratureS is the event for you. (Fine, you can bring your Tinder match too.)

Did you know in the walls of Red Fort, Shah Jahan conspired and successfully killed off many of his daughters lovers? In the Havelis of Chawri Bazar, hide a collection of stories of passionate affairs and women more powerful than their husbands? These are the accounts of women; faded in time, buried in heritage.
