1. The Bar Stock Exchange, Mumbai
Where the demand determines the cost.
A tavern which works on the principle of Stock Market – People can walk-in at zero hour or ‘market’ opening time to grab drinks at prices as low as their cost price. Here, at The Bar Stock Exchange, the popularity of the booze controls its cost. The more celebrated a drink is, the more it amounts. Fond of speculating? This pub is B-town is the place, to be in. As far as restaurant decor goes – this wins all on the Stock Exchange!

2. Kaidi Kitchen, Chennai
The only jail from which you are allowed to escape after you’ve paid the bill.
This restaurant, where the staff is dressed as inmates and jailers, is designed similar to a prison. Though the place offers a range of average delicacies, its décor makes it a mandatory pick. Can you ever imagine how great (or not?) a restaurant based on the jail decor complete with inmate-like dishware and bars and locks on windows can look?

Eat inside a static auto.
Offering not conventional seats but an entire auto rickshaw to sit, this restaurant nudges itself an inch forward off the others in the business. The design and interior of this place fits just perfect in the frame of the desi theme it slides forward to the patrons.

All about common treats and unusual seats.
India’s first ever toilet-themed restaurant, this café has a toilet garden around it which boasts of a collection of more than twenty lavatories and urinals which date as far back as the 1950s. The signboard outside the loo hangs with an inscription of the word “Haash!”. The founder Jayesh Patel is the son of Ishwarbhai Patel who established the toilet garden. He was strangely called ‘Baby Toilet’ because of the weird legacy.
