Still Life Photography by Aaron Tilley and Kyle Bean that Leaves You In Anxious Anticipation

Still life photographer Aaron Tilley along with set designer Kyle Bean together shot a series, In Anxious Anticipation, of everyday objects, in their most unnerving states. In Anxious Anticipation explores the connection between what the mind perceives and how the body reacts and also the hormonal defense of adrenaline. All images place mundane everyday objects right before something utterly wrong and cringe-worthy  is about to happen. Evoking a feeling of suspense, these still life photography images induce an adrenaline rush which is best described in writer Jordan Kushins words;

A telltale thump of the heart, the flush feeling that starts in your chest and spreads to your fingertips, the tightening of muscles and the quickening of breath: the effects of adrenaline are positively pulse-pounding, but the physical whoosh we feel in our bodies actually starts in our brains.
